The Parkview Pantera

Marie Stanford

Marie Stanford is a Senior at Parkview high school. This is her third year on the newspaper staff and her first year as a co-editor-in-chief. Her favorite articles to write are hard-hitting feature stories that will make her reader’s cry. In her free time, Marie loves to write poetry, babysit, and play the ukulele. Marie’s aspiration is to attend Georgia Tech next year as a business major. One day, she hopes to own her own marketing company. Writing and journalism are a passion for Marie, and she is so excited for this year. Currently a senior at Parkview, William Vo found journalism through the oddest possible way. Getting hit by a car led William to journalism, introducing him to a wide variety of people that loved writing as much as he did. If he’s not in school, chances are he’s either working at Kumon or attempting to watch Netflix in bed curled up in a fetal position, which ultimately means his life is not very exciting. This is his first year doing Journalism but he hopes that the skills he gains from this course will further his future and hopefully guide him towards fulfillment.
