Grace Kim, Editor-in-Chief

Grace Kim is currently a senior. She has been a part of the PHS Pantera newspaper staff for 3 years, and she is now the Co-Editor in Chief. She enjoys working together with the other staff members to inform other students about news, issues, and events they should be aware of. This enjoyment is fueled by her passion for reading and writing. From a young age, she would bring a book everywhere, from restaurants to cars to vacation.

While reading and writing give Grace immense pleasure, she also likes to learn about many subjects. Science, math, and history all have great value to her, as she has a curious mind. She believes that each area of study has its own worth and benefit. Grace wishes to continue her education after high school and eventually become a pediatrician, since she loves both children and the medical field. Her greatest joy would be to be able to make an impact while doing something that gives personal fulfillment.

In her free time, Grace can be found listening to music, playing the guitar, reading, watching Disney movies, or babysitting her little cousins. She also enjoys learning more about Korean culture, since both of her parents are immigrants from South Korea. One of Grace’s favorite ways of passing time is watching Korean variety shows and dramas with her family.

One of Grace’s favorite quotes is, “The quality of an individual is reflected in the standards they set for themselves,” from Ray Kroc because she values hard work and pushing herself to new heights.
