The Parkview Pantera

Amy Pan
Amy Pan is a junior at Parkview High School, where she spends her days performing in the marching band, participating on the mock trial team, and daydreaming about mystical, faraway lands during math class.

Amy is a self-professed nerd and can often be found obsessing over various books and T.V. shows, watching Disney movies, or attempting to make terrible puns. Her most prized possession is her extensive napkin collection, which features over 80 napkins from all the places she has visited.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, playing the flute, and eating gargantuan amounts of ice cream. She also loves to travel and try new cuisines (while finding new additions to her abovementioned napkin collection, of course). Amy likes volunteering as well; for several years, she has worked with MedShare, a non-profit organization that packages surplus medical supplies and ships them to impoverished countries.

Amy has always enjoyed writing and the many ways it enables the expression of one’s thoughts. She is excited to be reporting for the Pantera this year and hopes to stay involved in the Parkview community. Her favorite quote is, “Don’t just fly, soar.” – Walt Disney
