The Parkview Swim and Dive team came out on top last Saturday when they battled Brookwood for the Five Forks trophy.

The boys came out on top in six events. Dalton Vaux, junior, took first in the boys’ 50 yard free and the boys’ 100 yard free. Ben Warren, senior, finished on top in the boys’ one meter dive with a score of 234.35. Bradley Downs, freshman, came home with a 52.68 time in the boys’ 100 yard butterfly. The boys’ 200 yard free relay team of Vaux, Jacob Finco, freshman, Samuel Kim, junior, and Downs also finished first. Gregory Paulukaitis, junior, Jerry Liu, senior, Vaux, and Downs took the boys’ 400 free relay.

Parkview’s girls brought home four top finishes. Morgan Fleming, junior, took first in the girls’ 50 free and the girls’ 100 yard free. The girls’ one meter dive was won with a score of 130.30 by Sarah Loftus, senior. Megan Reeves, senior, Chelsea Keown, junior, Megan Yang, senior, and Fleming came out with a first place finish in the girls’ 200 yard free relay.

Parkview will take this momentum from this win into county finals next week and, hopefully, to state.
