Executive Order on Rebuilding and Enhancing Programs to Resettle Refugees and Planning for the Impact of Climate Change on Migration
This order is increasing the amount of refugees that are able to be admitted into the United States. With Trump in office, a record low of 15,000 refugee spots were available. Biden’s Order is expanding upon the old United State Refugee program that was dismantled by Trump. A goal of has be set to provide 125,000 people in danger around the world a safe place. In this order he is also planning to help people that have been displaced by Climate Change by settling them in the United States.
